90 Day Check In

I did not check in last week with my Bible in 90 Days reading because of everything going on around here. It has been a crazy week around here; not knowing if father in law was going to pass, flying to Indiana, staying in a hotel, eating out, mother in law in ICU but with all that going on I am happy to report that I have stayed on track with my reading.

I like to spread my reading out throughout the day so I can focus on Him each day.  However, when I do that I have to make sure that I read a couple of chapters at a time because there have been a few times where I would climb into bed and see that I had eight chapters to read.  That can be tough and I try to have all the reading done by midnight.

I know Satan is not happy with all my reading and he is trying everything he can to have me miss a day but all I have to say to Satan is **sticking out my tongue**!
God will prevail, He always does.

Also, thank you to everyone for the prayers and your encouragement during these times and I happy to report that my mother in law and father in law are doing just fine.  Their doctors have come back to say that they have some changes to do but they are doing much better and out of the woods.  Praise God, all the Glory goes to Him; The Great Physician.

  1. So glad your inlaws are doing okay! And good for you for sticking with your reading! I do the same thing...try to read throughout the day every time I have a few minutes. If I tried to wait until I had enough time to sit and read it all in one sitting I'd never stay caught up!

  2. Good news! According to the doctors my grandmother was supposed to pass in January, but she's still trucking along! They really don't know everything! I am glad your in-laws are going to be okay!! I hope you get to continue your reading without anymore interruptions.

  3. Praying for your family!
And I have to give you a HUGE congrats for staying on track with all that has been going on in your life! I was 4 days behind last week and all I had going on was a family camping trip!
May God bless you! I will be praying...

  4. Oh and I am so glad that you family is doing ok. And I am so impressed that you could stay on track with all the stuff that is going on in your life. Great job!

  5. I told Michael you'd be back in time for the fair since you were coming home on the 30th. He said, "I don't think so- her MIL is in ICU now!" I thought, "What are the chances of both at the same time?!"

Glad to hear all is improving and can't wait until you get back home! Are you still coming back on the 30th? Do you want us to pick you up at the airport? Just tweet me and let me know.
