I Will Protect Him

Do you ever have moments where you know something is not right or something is going to happen?

Where God is telling you to pray?

That happen to me just recently.

This scripture just kept playing through my head: "Because he loves me," says the lord, "I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name." Psalm 91:14
All I could do was trust in God and pray like crazy.

I knew the prayer was to be for my husband so I prayed all day.

I did not know what I was praying for but I knew I had to be in prayer.  I cannot go into great detail but I can say that a gas leak was found minutes (literally minutes) before my husband left.

As soon as I heard about the gas leak and how it kept my husband and the rest from leaving, I knew immediately it was all God.  I kept telling myself "What if you did not pray?" "What if you ignored what God was telling you to do?" "What if..."

As soon as I had those thoughts I quickly released them because there was no "what ifs."  God had put His hand upon my husband because my husband loves Him and He will protect him.

I do not know what could of happen if the gas leak was not found, but I do know that God was watching over my husband and I thank Him for that.

"The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.  Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged." Deuteronomy 31:8

  1. Wow! That is so amazing. I have had that a few times in my life. One night, around 3 AM, I woke up feeling the need to pray for a friend who lives thousands of miles away (in a different time zone). Sure enough, she was smack dab in the midst of a trial at that very time. Goosebumps, I tell ya! Good ones...to know that the Spirit is speaking, ya know?
