We have all made
mistakes sometime in our life. We have learned from our mistakes or we have
not. We may continue making the same mistakes. Sometimes we dwell on the
mistakes we have made. We sit and wish we did not make certain mistakes in our
life. However, in the end, the mistakes we have made or making cause us to be the
person we are today.
We may have people in
our life that continue to bring up our past mistakes. The more they bring it up
the more it weighs us down. We dwell on the past. We do the “would of, could
of, should of.” We think maybe if I did not make those mistakes the people in
my life would love me more. The people in our life would be proud of us. You
begin to wonder why they continue to remind you of your mistakes. Are you only
worth the mistakes you have made?
Or
are you worth more?
In His eyes we are
worth even more than we can imagine. We are worth so much that He sent His Son
to die for us. Isn’t that worth more than words can explain?
If He sees our worth,
why can’t we see our own worth? We are more than a mom. We are more than a dad.
We are more than a daughter or son. We are more than a friend. We are more than
a sister or brother. We are more than a wife or husband.
We
are a child of the one true God.
A true God who does not
remember our mistakes.
A true God who loves us
even when we make mistakes.
A true God who longs
for a relationship with us.
A true God who sent His
Son for us.
For you and me.
We are worth more than
the mistakes we have made. No matter who reminds us of when we did this or
that, we need to remind ourselves our worth in Him. We are more than the
mistakes we made. If He forgets our mistakes then we need to forget the
mistakes we have made. We need to stop dwelling on the “would of, could of,
should of” mentality.
We are worth everything
to Him.
Shouldn’t
He be worth everything to us?
