Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. The second is this:'Love your neighbor as yourself.' There is no commandment greater than these. Mark 12:30-31

Daylight.....
Daylight?
You may wondering why I am grateful for daylight.
Well, there is one main reason.
Let me tell you what it is.....
We live in Alaska and this is our first winter here. When we arrived here in the last couple days of September it wouldn't get dark at night until about 7pm. Then the sun would rise around 0730am. Not bad right? Well, by December there was no daylight until about 1015am and then it was dark by 3pm! Add that up and you get about five hours of daylight.
HOWEVER, it is now February and we starting to see daylight around 9am and it is not dark until around 5pm or 530pm!!!
I believe the saying is true "you do not know what you have until it is gone." So true, so true!
***Believe me when I say I absolutely love being in Alaska, and the beauty here is for one to witness for themselves, pictures do not do justice for it.***

ReplyDeleteWow! My hubby and I are so happy when it is light and bright here, I cannot imagine having such limited daylight. I am glad the seasons are changing and you are getting your daylight back!
